The Services You Need

We offer the services that you need to create a data communications program that is just right for your business.

ISDN Basic Rate Interface (BRI) - Digital service providing two 64 Kbps B channels which transmit digital voice, video and/or data, and one D channel which provides signaling for the service and supports 16 Kbps customer-packet-switched data.

ISDN Primary Rate Interface (PRI) - Is a local digital service which consists of a T-1 (DS1) access line configured as a primary rate interface with twenty-three 64 KBPS bearer (B) channels, and one 64 Kbps data (D) channel for signaling. Calling Number Delivery, called Number Delivery and Hunting functionality are inherent in this service.

56K Service - Our Point-to-point private line service operating at a transmission speed of 56Kbps. We offer this service on either intraLATA or InterLATA circuits. This service provides 100% dedicated digital transmission supporting analog or digital circuits. (Analog up to 19.2 Kbps)

T-1 Service - Our Point-to-point dedicated digital private line services operating at a transmission speed of 1.544Mbps. T-1 service offers the capacity for up to twenty-four 56 or 64 Kbps channels for voice, data or image transmission. We offer this service on either intraLATA or InterLATA circuits in both D4-AMI and B8ZS line coding.

Frame Relay Service - A public, fast-packet data network offering. Utilizing Qwest frame and ATM-based cell relay, frame traffic is dynamically allocated between locations to support an array of customer applications including multi-protocol, multi-vendor Local Area Network and Legacy protocol (SNA, LAT, et al.) environments. Access Point customers access frame relay services at the closest of Qwest's nationwide U.S. POPs, 15 nationwide Canadian POPs, and in over 48 countries worldwide. Within the POP, Network Node Connections are designed and installed on the frame relay network. A Network Node is comprised of a Port Connection and Permanent Virtual Circuits (PVCs) that define the connections between customers' ports. PVCs are available in 8 Kbps increments on any asymmetrical basis. Access connections are available in any DS-0 rate up to1.536 Mbps, with Port subscription of up to 400%.
